Corsica, the jewel of the Med

There is a way of falling definitively in love with Corsica. It is an approach which consists in arriving off these coasts the night, a few hours before the dawn. The breeze which blows since the ground seems tepid and reveals of them only best the balsamic scents of the pine forest, the lush fragrances of the bushes.

These coasts can all offer to us: mountains falling with peak in turquoise water, hills of granite’s blocks, chalk cliffs and the long white sand beaches.

    • From St Florent to Calvi, we will sail along the true desert of Agriates, which offers some amazing moorings.  A site to be discovered in spring when its “maquis” in flowers explodes like a fireworks.

    • From Calvi to Porto, we are here in the Corsican’s coast showing us a geological spectacle. Let’s admire these red’s cliff moving in their nuances with the race of the sun. Scandola, natural reserve, the bay of Girolata, the gulf of Porto with his fantastic creeks…

    • From Ajaccio to Bonifacio, we are between sea and granite. The coast, lower, is marked out with rocks more gilded than red, which gives to its approaches a more human dimensions. An incalculable numbers of creeks with gilded sand follow one to another.

    • Bonifacio, is located in a spectacular creek, giving the access to one of the most remarkable natural harbour of the Mediterranean Sea..
    • The archipelago of Lavezzi and Cavallo are multiple small islands, located in a labyrinth of rocks, reefs and shallow waters. Here, navigation is a business of precision. What surprises us, it is this accumulation of round blocks of granite, polished by the wind and water, as posed the ones on the others by the hand of a chimerical giant. Water is here an incredible transparency.
    • The southern part of the Eastern littoral is low and sandy. It has a series of superb moorings protected from the winds of west. We arrived in the paradise of the followers of idleness and baths in water at 28°. The beaches are beautiful, water are crystal clear. Santa Giulia, Rondinara, Sant' Amanza… as many imposing places and still rather wild. It is an ideal basin of navigation for the accompanied families’ children.

    • The large deep gulf of Porto Vecchio and its neighbourhoods shelter many idyllic moorings offering an extraordinary panorama on the tormented relief of the island. At the bottom of its gulf, Porto Vecchio, third city of the Island, is a high place of the Franco-Italian beautiful people.
Elba and Toscan’s Islands

This archipelago is composed of scattered Islands between Corsica and Italy. They are all mountainous islands which fall abruptly into the sea. They have a particular charm giving place to be an appreciated destination, apart from the usual circuit.

    • Elba, its coasts very cut out offer many beautiful ports and moorings. Its slopes are covered with terraces and the Island is always green, even in the middle of the summer. Palm trees, eucalyptus, cedars and pines push everywhere.
    • Montecristo, is the island chosen like weaves basic, by Alexandre Dumas in her famous novel. It is a large cone peak culminating at 648 Meter. It is a natural reserve offering some deep bays.
